 Google LLC [4] or Google Limited Liability Company is an American multinational technology company specialized in Internet-based services and products.  Google was created by Larry Page and Sergey Brin on September 4, 1996, while they were PhD students at Stanford University.  Google controls 14 percent of the stock and 56 percent of the stockholders through special supervisory powers.  On September 4, 1997, they incorporated Google as a private company.  Google made its initial public offering (IPO) on August 19, 2004 and relocated to their new headquarters in Mountain View, called Googleplex.  In August 2015, Google announced plans to integrate various activities under the name Alphabet Inc.  Alphabet will be the main subsidiary of Alphabet and will conduct Internet activities.  As a final part of the restructuring, Larry Page replaced Sundar Pichai as CEO of Google.  (Larry Page is now CEO of Alphabet)

 Google runs about one million servers in various data centers around the world [5] and solves 5.4 billion or more than 500 billion search requests [7] and processes data generated by about 24 petabytes of users per day [7] [8] [9] [10]  .  As of September 2009, Alexa ranks Google among the most used websites in the United States.  Google's other international sites such as YouTube, Blogger and Orkut [11] also rank in the top 100 sites.  The brand ranks Google 2nd in their brand equity database [12].  Google's dominance has led to various criticisms, such as copyright, privacy and censorship, [13] [14].
